Life in Naic, Episode 3: Our Tile Project

Last Saturday morning, my daughter and her boyfriend purchased tiles and other materials in Tanza tile supply and the next monday afternoon it was delivered in our house in complete detail. And the next morning start the installation by our trusted tile setter,a neighbor in Phase 2 with his son as a helper.They work for almost four days and the result make us comfortably happy for my family.

Our living room looks like a shining with milk cream tiles,the stairway port and also our kitchen.

In the afternoon,we relax and sleep at the living room while the sunlight outside is very warm while watching the noontime tv show. I remember when i was a teenager,our home living room is made of bamboo flooring and make us comfort as compare today it's concrete tile setting.

In the late 80s,one of my friends in Alabang invited me to their home with a marble tile setting in their living room and sleep comfort while listening hit music of the 80s. And now,its a big blessing from God to experience a life with comfort for my family with the tile flooring that we have.

As of June 27 at 7:00 am,neighborhood were start start to elect a new officers for our new community,the Phase 3B Association here in Ciudad el nuevo,brgy.Timalan,Naic Cavite,Philippines.And I was elect as a member of the board for maintenance of our places necessity and needs.I need a group or the cooperation of the neighborhoods to do my responsibility.Our present resolution or agenda is to register our group for legal purposes and collect a monthly dues of Php.30.00 only for every homeowners or members for financial needs.Opening our main gate direct to the main road towards barangay Timalan.So that a transportation line up and affortable will be available for every member of the household.The next is the collection of our garbage,and according to our PRO officer,it will be requested to the barangay chairman.But temporarily,I used to burn it on our vacant lot with dried grass leaves in the morning or sunset.This morning,the group completed to open and clean the main gate area and planting of flower seedling at the road center island and scheduled to continued next suturday the rotonda or circle behind the road.I think,we have a good environment in our place and a nice to live in when you observe your neighbor working for the benefits of all.

Our Little Vegetable Garden

This idea wa s start when my daughter cook our lunch and ask me to plant the excess kangkong leaves and branches at the vacant lot infront of our house.At the next morning,i do my responsibility for watering and observe it the chance to survive in the warm sunlight in the afternoon.After three days of that activity still remain in green color and fresh and a new leaves develop on each branches and new life begin.Now,after less than two months here in our new home,it blooms and become a garden of variety of vegetable plants from kankong,sweet potato leaves,squash,chilli,string beans,okra,ginger,corm and tomato.It benefits for myself and my familty a time to relax by enjoying to observe each seedling daily growth and progress to its physical changes.Like a human being,i thought raising a family of plants as my new hobbies and experience today to make this life meaningful and friendly environment.

Last April 17,at around 4:00 am early morning,we start to accomodate our belongings in a rental utility jeep and arrive in our new sweet home at 7:15 am.It fullfilled my dream to have a house with our own by my daughter.The house is not so big like a bungalow but enough for us to live and they call it an executive row with running water and eletricity already installed.I tried to have a morning exercise by planting a vegetable garden infront and visit some new neighborhood.And in the noontime,sunrise is very warm and always looking for cold drinks and for sale ice with them.I thought,we are now a victim of the climate change.Before the sunset,i used to watering the plants in my garden and watch each seedling before proceeding to our home for dinner and relax for the night in our new house.We thank you Lord,for this priveledge and blessing for us.

Our Life with Lady in Black,a Kuwaiti Samaritan E16

On Jan.9,1985,its almost one month here in Kuwait and we recieve our first monthly salary at the company s office at the ground floor of our occupied quarter.The next friday morning,we prepared to visit the Kuwait city with some Sri lankans friends and waiting for a ride at the gate outpost until 10:00 am.We occupy an army officer service pick up and drop by only until the cross way interchange,3 km. from the camp,stand by at the police outpost ,waiting for bus liner for less than a hour:while talking with the police on duty about our status now in purely arabic version,a funny and scared at the start when asking our residence identification and find the outpost jail with a prisoners sleeping liked a dog inside. In the city,we start to proceed to the bookstore together with Rod and Jerby and looking for a stationery paper,picture remembrance about kuwait city,and read some display magazine.Pass by to the money exchange to buy draft cheque to be send by mail in the philippines,to the main post office,at the record s bar for the latest hit music and to adidas building for comfort. At last,we accomplish to send our first remmitance this time for our family and feeling happy when spend our lunchtime here in Filipino restaurant with boiled rice,chicken adobo,veg.dessert and soup.

the challenge of the century ..episode 8 unknown heroes day

We have only one month ahead before the election day on May 10. And today we comemmorates the unknown heroes in Bataan during the last world war II.As a filipino voter,we can compare ourself as a hero in the time of election if we ve got to vote or select the deserving leader for our country.A leader with a strong determination to make a changes and fullfilled the wishes of ordinary filipino or the averages class with ambition and common goals for the benefit of the people.We select a leader to demolish the corrupt practices in the government agencies and provide a good benefits for every employee so that corruption should be gone forever.Through this time of election:we can be a hero also,if we have a peaceful election on May 10, to show to the whole world our unity and wishes will be come true and example of a hero.
