Life in the heart of Manila- The old Manila in the past

      It is only in this video footage (see,facebook profile: Danilo Mabalay),where we can find the history and events that happend from the past in the city of Manila.   The University of Sto Tomas is the oldest structure,the Quiapo church as the landmarks today including the Luneta orRizal park,plaza Lawton,Escolta,Sampaloc Area-where in the National University was founded in 1901 by the Jhocson family.A place where i spend my college years with a degree in B.S. Mech'l Engineering last Oct.1982 after it become a university belt area from R.Hidalgo st.,to C.M.Recto avenue,Legarda st. and Bustillos street until M.F.Jhocson st.where N.U. is located  now.Today,Mendiola is the corner of Legarda and Recto Ave.become the gateway to Malacañang Palace,a very memorable place for todays heroes-who fights for their idealism,rights ,justice and principles.So many Filipino groups supporters being massacre during the rally and almost a battlefield scenes. And it happen from the late 70 s when the late ex Pres.F.Marcos declare Martial Law last Sept.21,1972,.ever since during that time until the democracy  for the Filipino won by next Pres.Cory Aquino last 1986,there is so many events and changes will happened in Manila.So many lives who suffered to death and  victims of Mendiola corner up to Present Administration of the son:Pres.Noy2 .
