During the *80's,as a student here in Manila.I'll always listening to my favorite songs mostly the original filipino music.And one of the hits is entitled 'Handog'-a presents or gift in English language,compose by-Florante.It is the start of his career-because of the sincerity meaning to every heart and souls of Filipino listeners.And it was followed by more songs from him-that make him popular around the country folks.A song for children-The A,BC or A Ba Ka Da-in Filipino,The Filipina song about-Pinay,telling the beauty and character of a Filipina at Home as a Housewife.He used to write a song for the rights of individual filipino-Life Principles and Dignity-'Digmaan'-to fight for the our Rights.And also a song to Love our country-'Ako'y Pinoy-(we are a Filipino),where ever we go,where ever we are-this is our identity-we could never change..from now on and forever..In the name of Almighty God-we are proud of being a Filipino..
